Portola Grill in Rostock

What can I say? Freshly moved to Rostock, first working day until late at night. At 8.30 p.m. I was still able to enjoy very fresh, delicious food. And those fries! Adorable! And hell yeah, you get full of that, I mean really full! If you stop by there, you will find something for every palate

Clean location, friendly staff. The dishes are unusual and of high quality. However, I found it difficult to find something for lunch that fits my budget (max 5 €).

The staff is fast and friendly and besides the usual meat-heavy offers there are also many vegetarian and even vegan dishes. A good tip for a quick lunch break in the city.

The portion size is enough. Around 7-9€ per dish. I can recommend the chicken strips with sweet potato fries. The strips had enough seasoning and were freshly fried. The fries were evenly fried. Just didn't like the curry dip. Ask for guacamole or sour cream instead.

Unfortunately, the measures against Corona are not being implemented. (If consumed on site, no personal details are recorded, masks are worn incorrectly / ineffectively by the staff and nothing is said even for customers without a mask ... Corona does not seem to exist here) In addition, the staff wears gloves with which the food is prepared and is also collected, very ugly. :(

I think the prices are completely ok. The waitresses are always very sociable and extremely courteous. We enjoy that every time we visit. The chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables particularly reasonable. There you don't get the feeling of having dinner like sardines in a can. For my part, I think my colleague and I have long since ordered the whole menu up and down. The dish was brought very quickly.

Had french fries with meat and sauce, I didn't like them at all, and an hour later the nasty taste in my mouth ....

Portola is one of the few shops here that offers Poutine (fries with gravy). The taste does not quite match the poutines you can eat in Canada, but it's still good. The fries were unfortunately quite cold for me and the price is unfortunately also quite high.

Very good fast food restaurant in the pedestrian area. The burgers are freshly made and there are delicious fries with a large selection of dips / sauces. Interesting things are included. In addition, there is also Canadian Poutine. These are also very good and really tasty compilations. Thumbs up. I will gladly come again!

Awesome place The meals are affordable and tasty. The only thing I'd add would be the original poutine, as they are selling all kinds of weird variations
